KIMBERLEY "FULL CIRCLE" SAFARI

Kimberley "Full Circle" Safari 2009

Broome Safari Treks is an outback safari operator with over 17 years experience in Western Australia's rugged Kimberley region. Our popular "Full Circle Safari" 4 WD Australian adventure tour takes in a full loop of this spectacular wilderness region and visits such places as Purnululu N.P. (Bungle Bungles), Windjana Gorge, Tunnel Creek, Bell Gorge, Galvans Gorge, Charnley River Station, Home Valley Station, Old Halls Creek, Manning Falls, El Questro Wilderness Park , Kununurra and Geikie Gorge at Fitzroy Crossing. We also visit the Yiyili Aboriginal Community and the fabulous Laari Aboriginal Art Gallery where we get a chance to meet the artists and see first hand the development of the community facilities.

In 2009 we will be including a FREE Cruise on the Chamberlain River in the magnificent El Questro Wilderness Park.

Another tour option available is an exhilarating flight from Kununurra with Alligator Airways which takes in the Mitchell Falls and the stunning Kimberley coastline as well as stopping at the remote Kalumburu Mission for morning tea and a tour of the Mission and Monastery. You may also have the opportunity to see some of the Bomber Wrecks from World War 2. The flight provides the opportunity to see some of the most inhospitable parts of the Kimberley not visible from the ground. The river system and ruggedly beautiful coastline simply can't be seen any other way. Lunch is taken at Home Valley Station before flying back to Kununurra over the awesome scenery provided by El Questro and the Cockburn Range. The flight of a lifetime awaits!

Broome Safari Treks is all about spending quality time at the many wonderful places we visit instead of spending countless hours on uncompromising roads. The option of flying over the Mitchell Falls has allowed places like Manning Falls, Charnley River Station and the Yiyili Aboriginal Community and Laari Art Gallery to be included in the comprehensive itinerary as well as providing a more relaxed "no-rush" safari experience. The "Full Circle Safari" also includes a visit to the wonderfully refurbished Home Valley Station which boasts a superb Outback Bar and Restaurant as well as stunning sunset views over the Pentacost River and Coburn Range.

The Kimberley "Full Circle Safari" is a true Australian outback adventure providing fantastic opportunities for stargazing, swimming in beautiful natural waterholes, bushwalking, hiking, wildlife viewing and superb photographic opportunities. The birdlife and sunsets in the Kimberley are also brilliant and add even more to your Kimberley experience.

Optional activities available on the tour include a sensational Cruise on the Ord River with the award winning Triple J tours in Kununurra as well as the Mitchell Falls Flight with Alligator Airways. (Please contact us for prices and information on any optional tours).

Feel free to bring your own alcohol and enjoy the camaraderie around the campfire as you enjoy our hearty meals under the Kimberley sky.
